Step by step
How it works?
1. Enable NFC on your phone
Android: Go to Settings → Connections → NFC and toggle it on. Can’t find it? Search “NFC” in your settings — it varies slightly by brand.
2. Tap & test each card
Hold the card to the back of your phone. As you pay with Paywave. Your Google review page should open within a second. Test each card before putting them out.
3. Place them strategically
Place your card where customers will see it. Counter, reception desk, or next to the payment terminal.
4. Please be aware
Before your customers tap, let them know they’ll need to be signed into Google on their phone. Most people are — but a quick heads-up avoids confusion.

Here’s how to turn it into reviews from day one.
Tip 1 — Placement
Put it next to the payment terminal.
Customers are already holding their phone to pay. One tap costs them nothing. This single spot consistently outperforms every other placement.
Tip 2 — Timing
Ask at the moment they light up.
When a customer says "that was great" or "thank you so much" — that's your window. Ask right then, not after they've walked out the door.
Tip 3 — Your team
Brief everyone who talks to customers.
Train your whole team to mention it. A short, consistent ask from everyone makes a big difference.
Keep it short.
Example: "If you enjoyed your visit, tap that card — it opens our Google reviews in one tap. You'll just need to be signed into Google on your phone."
